I have got a strange situation where my website hoster does not answer support tickets any more.

What I am trying to do is to do a full backup of my hosted sql db.

I can access the db alright.

However, I cannot back it up and store it on my local disk.

In the past, the hoster did that for me and put the backup db on an ftp site.

As this seems not to be possible any longer, does anyone know a way to back up the db from client using a certain sql script?

What do you mean when you say "access the db"? Command line interface, web GUI, client desktop application, magic, ...? – uesp May 12 '11 at 13:31
