Previously posted here, but with no real help and seeming like a server issue, I'm posting here.
I'm running WordPress 3.1.2 (attempted using WordPress 3.2beta1 with the same results) on an Apche server with the latest PHP installed.
After installing a new plugin, I activate said plugin and am prompted with an error starting with Warning: require_once Actual error can be seen here: http://chip-smith.com/
It doesn't matter what plugin is installed. I have verified that the "missing file" is where it should be.
It's becoming a real nuisance to have to go into every plugin and hard code the directory to each plugin file. I have tried reinstalling all the WP core files to no avail.
This happens on any site on this server. I suspect it's something within Apache but not sure. I have attempted a fix provided on the other site of commenting out include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php' to n avail.
