i installed drupal 7 on ubuntu 10.4 ec2. After installation i am getting the following mesage

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server

as my index page while the url is somewhat http://............../install.php

what possible problems be there.

Is /usr/share/cout where you installed Drupal? If not, your DocumentRoot is not pointing where you want it to point. – BMDan May 24 '11 at 1:16
