I am having an WD MyBookWorld II 2TB and the disk are configured on RAID 0. My box is damaged but the disks are fine. I have connected them and successfully mount them on a system running SystemRescueCD.

I have two options:
1) Transfer the data to a new box, but i have a problem because lot of the file names are in Italian.
2) Transfer the disks to a new box. I have ordered a new box(exactly the same) and i am wondering if i can replace the disks and just work?

If this data is not easily restorable from backup you might want to think twice about raid 0. If either drive fails you will lose everything. –  JamesRyan May 27 '11 at 11:35

I know... it wasn't my choice. But my priority is to get the data on the network and after that I'll sure find a more appropriate solution. –  Iraklis May 27 '11 at 11:38

What does the language have to do with getting the data off of the disks? –  joeqwerty May 27 '11 at 12:17
