I am running Windows XP as a WiFi access point using software from Atheros.

I need to limit bandwidth that all clients can use; I am using a Cellular internet provider which charges alot for extra bandwidth. Windows XP professional has a "Limit reservable bandwidth" setting. However, in the "Explanation" the following message is displayed:

If a bandwidth limit is set for a particular network adapter in the registry, this setting (limit reservable bandwidth) is ignored when configuring that particular network adapter.

My question is, where is this per-adapter registry setting that Windows mentions?

I am using Atheros Client Utility's hidden WiFi Access Point functionality. Is there a way within the Atheros Client Utility itself to limit bandwidth?
