I would like to configure apache to serve a default favicon.ico and robots.txt if there is none available (404) in the virtualhosts root directory. I'm running Apache2 on a WHM/cPanel server.
It should be possible to avoid changing the virtualhost templates and include the directive on pre-virtualhost or post-virtualhost layer (apache config files/cpanel distiller).
Did anyone here already figure that one out? Thanks for any hints!
