I've just installed Ubuntu Server 11.04 and Apache2 on Parallels Desktop 6. How can I connect to it from my Mac? I'm trying to access by typing the hostname in my browser but it does not work.

You want to ensure that the virtualized NIC is set to operate in "bridged" mode where it typically defaults to "NAT" instead. A valid IP for your network (can be assigned via DHCP) is also typically required under the "bridge" mode for the vitualized NIC. | |||
