I am usung glusterfs 3.2 on SciLInux, After one server crash I got some folder which I cannot delete from the client side. The gluster client claims that folder is not empty, but ls and du shows 0 files inside. walking over the bricks I found that on one node the folder is not empty, but the gluster client does not see it.

Are there way to fix it? I was running gluster fix-layout, and migrate but nothing is changed there. Can I safely delete those files directly from the bricks?

Thanks. Arman.

EDIT

The folders on the bricks where not empty.

After installing recent gluster 3.2.2, with fix-layout I fixed directory structure. Then walking over the bricks I moved all files from the empty folders on a glustre mount point to the mount point of the gluster.
