Ok, so I've made some changes to the registry to add a port range to the Default Protocols settings in dcomcnfg (on the client). This is necessary to allow the server to communicate with the client machine. However, the server is unable to communicate with the client until it is restarted after making the registry changes. Is there a service that needs to be restarted to make the changes take effect(I don't want to have to perform a full restart)? All this is being done an Windows Server 2008 R2 system.

Thanks!
