I have a wildcard ssl certificate installed for *.domain.com. I want to be able to use cpanel to set up subdomains which I can currently do, however cpanel only sets up a virtual host for port 80 and i need virtual hosts for both port 80 and 443.

Example:

I set up securesite.domain.com, I want cpanel to create two ... entries. One for port 80 and one for 443. Anyone have any ideas?

You need to install the SSL certificate for *.domain.com as well as creating a subdomain. cPanel will only make 443 entries for domains that have SSL certificates installed.
