I am trying to diagnose some issues for a customer, but i notice that none of the disk related counters show up in my PerfMon results (graph or csv format).

I found this article (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/granth/archive/2008/11/07/perfmon-is-not-collecting-logicaldisk-or-physicaldisk-statistics.aspx) but did not see a value for “Disable Performance Counters” under PerfDisk.

Do you have any ideas as to why this is not showing up for me? Is the above article relevant to my issue?

I am running PerfMon on a test server, gathering stats against a production server. Both are server 2008 (windows OS and SQL). I don't have more than a dozen total counters, so I don't think it's that I have too many.
