One of my hosts has 2 disks inserted. One is for booting ESXi and the second one is planned for storing the DataRecovery backups. The question is, how can I find out from which disk is vmware acutally booting ? Because I have to format the another one to have bigger block size and I would like to format the right disk to avoid small disaster. Is it the drive where the vmware diagnostic partition is located ?

Datastore1: Lots of partitions, extended, primary, including vmware diagnostic and VMFS

Datastore2: DOS 16-bit>32 bit, VMFS
