I have a windows vista, then I have a Vmware with a debian in bridge mode:
I did so,
I configure the vista network with next data:
ip: 192.168.1.236 netmask: 255.255.255.0 default gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.1.113
I setup the linux virtual machine network like this:
ip: 192.168.1.13 netmask: 255.255.255.0 default gateway: 192.168.1.1 broadcast: 192.168.1.255
DNS: 192.168.1.113
I off the two v mware network adapters since I didn't howto set it up
I on the option VMWare bridge Protocol into the windows vista network card configuration
My problem is I can't ping the virtual server from the windoows and I can't ping the windows from the virtual server.
No idea, getting mad....
Help please
I have connection to internet from both, windows 7 and the debian virtual machine
