I'm attempting to do a Device to Device clone of Win 7 from a 1TB drive to another.
The target drive is blank, the source is about 30% full.
I'm running from a USB and have tried running clonezilla from RAM also.
I start the clone, it clones the boot sector fine. It calculates the bitmap for the other partition successfully, but then starts to clone the main partition and fails after 10 minutes. (write speed starts around 5kb/s and drops to 420b/s) After this I get an error saying clone could not be completed and it is unresponsive (I can still move the mouse, but no actions do anything)
Thankfully I am still able to boot my source drive and it seems fine.
