I would like to purchase a system that can help me to auto-dial out, just by double clicking on the monitor screen, so that i can save the contacts on my pc and dial out easily without pressing every number to do so. Is it possible? Where can i get the software? Or connecting the directory on my PC to the PABX so that the keyphone will help to auto dial the number that i click on directory on my PC? What system is requrie to achieve such functions? Is it possible to do so?

You will need to provide significantly more information - PBX manufacturer, model, voice standards used, VoIP standards used, type of desk telephones, PC Operating System, location of directory, type of directory, whether your PBX supports TAPI or other Telephony API's - before any sensible answer will be possible. – Mike Insch Jul 25 '11 at 11:37
This is a 'shopping' question, which we don't really do here, sorry. Also what is possible or not possible in what you're asking really does depend specifically on both your PABX and how (indeed if) it is connected to your network. – DJ Pon3 Jul 25 '11 at 12:39
That you haven't provided the minimum amount of information necessary to provide any guidance at all implies you're not going to be able to implement any solution to this. – symcbean Jul 25 '11 at 13:34

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. See the FAQ for guidance on how to improve it.

If you are about to purchase a PABX I can recommend Zultys - their desktop software lets you highlight a number, hit a key combo and dial. There are probably other ways to link into it if you really try as well - I just don't use any others myself :)

What you are asking for is entirely possible. It is typically called a Unified Messaging System.
Cisco's Unity Messaging System is one option. Asterisk and some custom configuration work is another.

You should consult with vendors and determine a solution which meets your needs.
With the information you've provided we can't give you any guidance: It's the equivalent of walking up to a mechanic and saying "I want a red car" - You need to talk to a salesman first, and we'll be happy to help you keep it running once you've bought one :)
