i've been trying to set up Squid to present a page hosted on my local machine ( Mac OS X.6 - NOT server ). we have a page that we want to pass data from to an internal app on a separate domain.

i have installed Squid 3.1 xxx and it is "working". however when i go to 'http://localhost' i get a page indicating the admin has disallowed that sort of activity.

any help/pointers would be appreciated? prior to last week i'd never heard of Squid.

here's my squid.conf innards ...

You should rather put your problem in the subject rather than the fact that your have a problem. It is obviously that folks who post here have some sort of a problem anyway. – Michael-O Jul 25 '11 at 17:13
