I folks, first time here. My company bought an appliance that provide web service for massive digital signature. That appliance is a simple windows xp machine, with a multicard reader attacched via usb. On the winxp, there's a tomcat installed as a service, that provide the administration consolle, and the web service needed. For its role, this machine act like a server. I'd like that, rebooting the pc, everything will work again. Letting the winxp as a stand alone client in fact, it works exactaly like this... but joining the winxp to a domain, it doesn't: the multi-card reader semms to be not available since a user logon to the winXP. When the xp boot, it try to use the smartcard reader as a logon device (this didn't happen until it joins the domain). Is there a way to avoid this behaviour?
I already tried to set the SCForceOption to 0, but this just gives the opportunity to logon even with traditional username/password, without forcing to use the smart card. What I have to achieve is different: I need the tomcat application to be able to use the card reader as when the XP was in stand alone mode.
Any help? Thanks in advance
