I am trying to do a "System state" restore on Windows SBS 2011. This requires going into DSRM. However, under DSRM, Windows Server Backup never brings up the list of backups. It just sits forever (several minutes) on the initial "Reading data; please wait..." message.

Running wbadmin get versions also hangs seemingly forever.

Am I doing something wrong? Should I expect Windows Server Backup to take an inordinately long time to list previous backups?

same here, but i left it over night and when I returned some 12h later the list was there. at this point the wbadmin get versions took some 30 minutes and than the UI was working normally until I resheduled the backup. the wizard takes ages at Creating Backup Shedule. did you find any explantion for the problem? I will again wait, but this is a pain – Alain Neuens Mar 1 at 11:04
