We have been having some really strange issues on our web servers recently with the latest being our website applications in IIS6 reverting from asp.net 2.0 to asp.net 1.1 on Windows 2003 server.
The asp.net version has changed in the Asp.net tab when you right click on a website > properties > Asp.net.
How on earth would this have happened?
