I have a user who connects to his Windows 7 x64 PC from home - also a Windows 7 x64 PC. The printer. He is able to print to his HP Officejet Pro 800 A809n printer without issue from home, but when he tries to print to it from his remote work PC (over remote desktop), part or all of the page shows up blank.

This article looks like my problem, but I don't follow the solution. My user is in the admin group on both his home and work PC.

I'm assuming the printer shows up on the office workstation? I start troublshooting this by reinstalling the most updated drivers on both workstations to make sure they match. – Nixphoe Aug 10 '11 at 3:50
Oddly enough, the problem seems to have gone away after installing a version of VNC (attempting to solve a different problem). – JohnB Aug 22 '11 at 22:01

Remote desktop printing problem can be solve by using TSprint software. No driver installation needed for this printer. Just installing the TSPrint Server on your remote desktop server and TSPrint Client on your client workstations. This will automatically enable you and your users to start printing on their local printers without any problems. TSPrint also offers additional features that come very handy when working Terminal Services/Remote Desktop. List of features: 1.Print documents to your local printer 2.Send files to your local computer 3.Open files on your local computer
