I have a Dell Poweredge 2850 with a RAID 5 array and a RAID 1 array.

A disk has an amber light on for a while. I forced the disk out and replaced it. I Rebuilt the disk and now the system will not boot.

Going into RAID config with Ctrl + M shows the logical drives and RAID arrangement, but booting off Systems build shows no RAID or logical drives but suggests to create one. Am I missing something? I have used BartPe CD but the drives are not visible either, Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have important data on this machine.

It is stuck after the BMC CTRL E with a cursor blinking. When I boot with a BartPe, the logical drive is not visible. On perc utility, the raid arrays status is optimal, the logical drives are ok, consistency check returns no error. Any suggestion will be appreciated. – jena Aug 14 '11 at 16:07
