We are migrating our staff to Windows 7 from Windows Vista. We make changes to the users in AD by removing the roaming profile and changing the login script.

For some odd reason sometimes (not for all staff) when logging into WIndows 7 they get the wrong (Vista) login script.

A gpupdate seems to fix the issue however is there some kind of avoiding this issue?

Our DC's are all Server 2008 R2.

How long are you waiting after you make the changes to to test the logins? Are you giving proper time for replication? Is your sites and services configured properly for timely replication between DCs? – SpacemanSpiff Aug 22 '11 at 4:05
