When I navigate to \\SOMESERVER\SharedFolder Windows 7 'thinks' several seconds, then Enter Network Password dialog appears.

Problem: administrators of SOMESERVER claim that multiple (hundreds) requests with my domain credentials come to SOMESERVER - they think I'm trying to hack server. I understand why windows sends my credentials once, when I enter \\SOMESERVER\SharedFolder for the first time, but why it keeps sending these credentials several times per second during several minutes?

Please suggest how to fix this issue.

Did you check the Windows Credential manager to see if it has a password stored in there? If so, delete it and try again. – Safado Aug 29 '11 at 15:44
