I have installed pfsense 1.2.3 embedded version to 8 Gig CF card. I have booted the box, connected to terminal, accessed the menu, set up interfaces, and set up the IP addresses (192.168.1.1 on LAN). I have connected a laptop to the LAN port, configured as 192.168.1.2/24, and have attempted to access the webConfigurator from IE http://192.168.1.1. Webpage is not loading. I have attempted to ping 192.168.1.1 from laptop, and pings are successful. I have also, installed a port scanner on laptop, and only seeing port 21 (FTP) open on 192.168.1.1 (very strange). Can anyone assist me on what I can try next?
