Using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client Version 4.3.0 Build 292238 I attempted to convert a .sv2i file into a VM but I receive the error "The source parameters are invalid" upon selecting the file.

sv2i are Symantec Backup Exec files? Which Version do you use? There is a whole chapter about which versions are supported and which limitations you can expect with VMWare Converter 4.3 in the Users Guide - link Page 23 and 25. – duenni Sep 7 '11 at 13:02
