The situation is as follow: I have five Windows Server 2008 R2 Servers running Remote Desktop services (terminal server). The servers are Load Balancing with DNS round Robin. For external login I’m using one RD Gateway server with RD Web Access. on the same server. Everything is standing behind an ISA 2004 firewall server. The RD gateway/ RD Web Access server is published on 443 SSL only.

When I log internally through the RD web Access server on an remote desktop server (terminal server) the connection is fast. Know problems here. But when I logon Externally over the internet by the RD gateway server it takes more than a minute to logon. I works but it’s very slow.

How can I speed up the logon process?
