I am planning to implement a firewall for Linux. However, I don't know where to start from. I have tried to lookup reference sites, but could not find any. Could you please recommend any relevant web sites or books?

I don't think it belongs to serverfault, as this is purely programming question, as I understand it. It is not about using a firewall, it is about firewall development, kernel API, etc. – Vlad Lazarenko Sep 14 '11 at 12:24
