I have found multiple topics on installing the yii framework with xampp, however, I have not been able to track down any that discusses this on xampp running from a flash drive. I followed the instructions for the install with xampp but I have not had any luck. Can anyone tell me if this is possible or if there is a tutorial or blog post describing this process? It seems the main issue is setting up a path in the yiic.bat file since I don't want to use a drive letter and setting up environment variables defeats the purpose of having it solely on the USB drive.
