I am wanting to monitor the interface traffic on 6 servers we have hosted at an offsite data center. I have already asked for net flow to be enabled on the virtual switches, although they do not provide this service because of the extra load it will cause on their systems.
I have looked into programs like ntop but this still requires changes to be made to our hosted environment.
What i am looking for is a net-flow agent i can install on the servers and configure to send the statistics over the VPN to our own internal network where i can use one of the many programs available to log and graph the data.
