We have SharePoint 2010 implemeted with TFS 2010 in our environment. This is under domainA. We have developers working on it through their machines which are under domainB. domainA and domainB are having trust relationship. User using domainB machine have accounts in domainA with which they work on TFS and SharePoint.

When they do a checkout/checkin/Manage Copies of file in SharePoint, they are not able to do it in IE 32 bit (Win 7 machine/MS Office 2007 installed). They are able to do every thing without any problem in Mozilla and IE64 bit. Any help to solve this issue is welcome.

We want users to do all the activity from their Win 7/MS Office 2007 machine with IE32 explorer.

Thanks.

The there any policies which are domain policies which are being applied to the x64 IE that aren't being applied to the x86 IE? What error do they get when using the 32bit IE? – mrdenny Sep 15 '11 at 7:01
Thanks for reply..there is no such policies applied. The error message i get is- "This document could not be checked out. You may not have permission to check out the document or it is already checked out or locked for editing by another user." However, this is not the case. Because everything works fine in Mozilla and IE64. – Kabir Rao Sep 16 '11 at 4:26
