installing php 5.3 in CentOS kloxo

Question

I have a CentOS5.6 32bit VPS with kloxo installed. Want to install php 5.3. my current version is 5.2.

I read in kloxo forums that one should not update php to 5.3 , but the thread was 1 year old. anyone has any experience in ?

ok, i managed to do this. Just added webtactic repo to YUM and installed. kloxo did not claim much.

	JFYI: the default repo includes php 5.3 which can be pulled using the name php53-* – SparX Sep 21 '11 at 19:53
	Yes, but the default repo misses many PHP extensions. I liked the webtactic thing. – Anoosh Ravan Nov 22 '11 at 8:38
