I have a Hyper-V Server on an off-site network. I want to be able to put any given VM on it permanently on my corporate PPTP VPN network.

i tried to do this with Routing and Remote Access by creating a demand dial interface that is permanently connected to the VPN. However, I can't seem to create a Hyper-V virtual network to map to this Demand Dial interface. Any ideas?

how many nics are in the server? –  tony roth Sep 21 '11 at 14:26

The hyper-v server has two nics, but only one has a cable going into it. –  Matias Nino Sep 21 '11 at 14:35

can you use the extra nic or is there some other limiting factor? –  tony roth Sep 21 '11 at 15:13

So basically what I would do is plug the extra nic into the network and connect it to the VPN and then map vm's to that interface? How would I persist the nic's connection to the VPN on the host? –  Matias Nino Sep 22 '11 at 15:58
