So I am hosting our web application on shared hosting. We are getting ready to start our pilot program and I am trying to figure out a good way to do automated database backups.
The shared host doesn't have any functionality to help, as the WebSitePanel doesn't support scheduled tasks, I am trying to find a good solution to go from here. The host provides database backups for up to 6 days, but it costs $50 each time I need to access a db backup.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a low cost or free solution to automatically back up my database, either locally or to a cloud service
