When I try to import a update from Windows Update Catalog into my Windows Server Update Service,I get a 80131509 error.

Why is this happening, how can I solve it?

SOLUTION:

Besides searching on google, I came to the solution myself.

Import from Microsoft Update Catalog won't work if your server has a upstream synchronization server other than microsoft. I mean a parent WSUS.

The solution is to change the upstream synchronization server back to microsoft update, import the update package and then change to your parent WSUS again.

Is that the full error text? If not, it would be very helpful if you could edit your question to include it. – Ben Pilbrow Oct 14 '11 at 20:54
I'm sorry @BenPilbrow, but I was posting this question with the answer, but stack won't let me do that in less than 7 hours. As I couldn't find this solution anywhere, but by myself, I though it would be useful to post it here. – motobói Oct 14 '11 at 21:08
