I have a problem as follows. I have a website that runs on Xen VDS. When I test it with "siege -c 5" it would either respond quickly or very slowly (like 30 secs or more) or doesn't respond at all, giving the availability of about 95%. When I test my website from home or even from another country, it works fine. Turning off the firewall on my VDS didn't help.
I found 2 other websites (not mine) hosted by the same hosting provider (and located behind the same hosting provider's router as traceroute says) that show exactly the same behavior as mine. The "mtr --report" results for all those hosts are normal.
Contacting either my local ISP or my hosting provider didn't give any results. What would you recommend me to do to resolve this issue?
