I'm running out of space on my Exchange 2003 transaction log volume and would like to move the logs to a new volume. I know the process to move them, but I wonder if there's something more I'm forgetting. My plan is to move the log location after a backup to reduce offline time.

It seems easy to do, but almost too easy. I'm not too familiar with maintenance of this sort and don't want to miss anything.

Is it as simple as I think?

Since you haven't told us what method you think is the method for moving the log files we can't answer whether or not it's as simple as you think it is. – joeqwerty Nov 5 '11 at 12:48
