I'm new to this page and I would like to post a question about seo friendly urls.. Here is my problem..
my site has the following prducts version:
Joomla:1.5.22 Virtuemart:1.1.9 stable Web Server:lighttpd/1.4.29 with lighttpd rewrites enabled
I have read that lighttpd doesn't allow .htaccess files so i asked from the web server hosting company i use to enable lighttpd rewrites. With just joomla the urls produced are just fine but when it comes to virtuemart products while the urls are presented fine the page doen't load and I get a 404 error.
Does anyone knows what i should do with vrtuemart??are there any components i can install in order to solve that problem??
