I need to allow my Nortel CDR Live Client, installed in a Windows Server 2008 to pull data from another server. The software is not able to pull anything.

Since I tried in my PC and it works correctly I guess the problem is that Windows Server 2008 does not allow the outgoing (or incoming) requests made by the Nortel CDR Live Client. Anybody know how to check and enable? Thanks

Turn off the firewall to ensure that it's a firewall issue. If it works afterwords, then you need to either open up the ports or you may be able to set the executable as an allowed program. NB: I'd advise against turning off the firewall as a solution. – Dan Nov 10 '11 at 18:29
