I work at a school with a Fortinet 80C firewall. We are having an issue where it is disallowing connections for various things. Yeasterday, it wouldn't allow users to bring up the Google Apps login page (although they could log in though the normal Gmail login page.) Today, a teacher trying to Skype with a home-bound student could not connect with Skype.

Gmail and Skype are both explicitly enabled in the "Application Control List" and none of the URL's they would use are blocked. Also, with the Google Apps issue, it didn't come up with the Fortinet "page blocked" page, it just would just fail to ever finish loading.

I have confirmed that the firewall is the issue (SSH tunnel/SOCKS proxy out through the firewall allows everything to load just fine.) Any ideas on what might be going on?
