I keep on seeing a /blog/ directory but I don't want it so I deleted it and then a couple of days later it appeared again. I have repeated the same process over and over again although it always re-creates itself. What can I do to stop this happening as it is overwriting my WordPress blog file...?

Contact your hosting provider (send a ticket) and tell them to delete this folder. This sometimes happens if the file/folder by some reason has "wrong" set of permissions - for ex. by some reason you are not THE owner of the file/folder and you cant delete it. This has also happened to me on one of my websites and the hosting provider deleted the unwanted folder | |||
