Our cellphone carrier has suddenly changed some service to NAT/NAPT. Before our PPTP VPN worked great with SBS 2011. Now we are unable to connect. From what I have understand the solution is to change VPN settings to L2TP/IPsec.
To my knowledge SBS 2011 is suppose to handle L2TP/IPsec? even though it's not recommended.
I followed this guide, go down to L2TP/IPsec-based Remote Access VPN Connections

Deviation
- We only have SBS and Clients, so I therefore I have restarted my client (refereed as CLIENT1). I'm trying to connect with my domain account, I have not created the VPNUser.
When connecting I'm getting this error:
Error 789: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer.
