Lately my boss is asking me to looking into database scanners. I know very little about db scanning technology. Just wondering if it is worth to purchase tools like Sentrigo ( http://www.mcafee.com/us/about/sentrigo.aspx ) ? Does anyone have experience of using database scanner? Also, I'd like to know if there is any limitation on it.

We already conducting internal OS and web scan on regular basis, by the way.

Nessus is capable of scanning DBs. Not exactly sure of what you are scanning for though
