Im giving IT support in a medical and dental clinic, and they use 2 different programs for patient managemtn. both programs need a server to serve the workstation. the medical program (called medical director) works beautifully and has no problem, but our dental program ( Oasis ) has been a major headache for us since we bought it. The problem is while they are using the program it suddenly crashes and force closes. The windows event logger shows problem with system32 files such as :

Faulting module name: MSVBVM60.DLL, version: 6.0.98.15, time stamp: 0x4a5bda6c
Faulting module name: USER32.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7ba59
Faulting module name: kernel32.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e211318

and bases on this, the program's support line says it's a problem with our windows, but I've checked it on 4 different computers and 3 different copies of windows (all windows 7) and only one of them is problem free.

also, when I run the program as administrator the frequency of crashes is much less.

does anyone have any clue on what could be the reason or how I can solve it ? im really desperate !

Have you tried running it in compatability mode? Other than that, I think it's a question for your vendor to answer... – Andy Smith Dec 2 '11 at 1:58
