We have an office Bizhub, I need to setup individual users. The boss wants each user to have their own local shared destination on their workstation, she does not want other users to see everyone's scans, only the users can see their own.

Question is, how do I secure their shared only to the server and the user. I will be setting up static IP addresses for everyone. SOME users are connected to an internal domain, some are not and are in a default workgroup.

The scanner is stand alone, not configured for ActiveDirectory. Network is Windows 2003. Mainly XP and Windows 7 workstations.

Shares would be on each user's PC, not a file server unfortunately. – xedgex Dec 8 '11 at 0:00
