I have some stations that I manage that switch between two different functions via script (For example, receiving inventory and packing inventory for customers). When this happens the program icons change, default printer changes, etc.

These machines are running Windows XP SP3.

I've run into a problem where I need to be able to change the printer margins when the new default printer is called. As it stands now, the margins are reset to default whenever the default printer is changed.

I've found registry entries for this, but they seem to only work on IE5 and below.

How can I configure printer margins for IE8 via a script?
