I create a chroot using dbootstrap

sudo debootstrap --arch i386 squeeze template http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian

I can lauch mysqld on this chroot, but if I copy the template directory, mysqld don't lauch, without any error message on standard output or in /var/log/mysql.*

It just don't lauch, and it is not a conflict on port since I can set non-standard port for mysqld and mysql-client in my.cnf without resolving the problem. But the behavior is the same as when I set 3306 for my chroot mysql and I already have a mysqld running on my box.

How can I get errors messages, or any information?
