I wonder if I need 8x vCPU for the Database server which performs weekly Merge Replication, because at the moment I've build like the following:
Windows Server Enterprise 2008 R2 SP1 SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 4x vCPU 16 GB
somehow the CPU went on 100% CPU over the weekend when I do the replication to another database in different site over dark fibre 1 GB link ?
