Quick question:

Can cPanel run in CentOS 5.4 32 bit?

Thank you.

CentOS 5.4 is old and is no longer receiving security patches. Probably not the best idea to be using for a public-facing server. – devicenull Dec 8 '11 at 4:48

According to their website, CentOS 5.x will be supported until Sept. 2014:

http://cpanel.net/products/cpanelwhm/system-requirements.html

but as mentioned by others, it's a good idea to install v6 now, since upgrade from 5.x to 6.x will require re-install and it's better to do it while you still build the server.
