  • 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation GF108 [Quadro NVS 4200M] (rev a1)
  • kmod-nvidia-290.10-1.el5.elrepo for the nvidia driver version

suspend/resume works fine (w/wo nvidia.ko loaded) if I use "echo mem > /sys/power/state" to suspend, but if I use pm-suspend or the gnome-power-manager suspend, the laptop display stays blank on resume (either in init 3 console only without nvidia or init 5 with nvidia loaded) and the network never comes back...

any idea where to start looking at?
