My workstation is Ubuntu 10.04, which is also running server components, like CUPS.
My Linux SecureCRT -- http://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/ emulator won't print the screen. SecureCrt stopped printing after a network switch upgrade, but my regular applications, like Evolution and Firefox continue to print after the upgrade.
The printer is an SMB printer installed on a Windows XP workstation.
Right after trying to print, I've looked in /var/log/cups/error_log and found
E [13/Dec/2011:15:39:14 -0500] Returning HTTP Forbidden for Send-Document (ipp://localhost:631/printers/lp) from localhost
I'm trying to narrow the problem down, so either VanDyke or our network administrators can fix the problem. So, my questions are what could be causing this and what things should I be looking at?
